Unlike the majority of the Dickey Family Slides, some of them are not stamped with the date. It appears as if some of the photos were taken in late November or December, 1961, due to the depiction of a marquee for a theatre showing the movie
Summer and Smoke. That movie was released on November 16, 1961. However, in other pictures family members do not appear to be dressed appropriately for November or December in NYC. It is possible that the weather was unusually warm, or the pictures may be from more than one trip.
